I'm slacking again I know, but I've just been so busy making cards for orders and for the dog charity. It's no excuse I know and I promise I will try harder. Today I want to show a set of 6 little cards that I made to put in packs for the dog charity, which I'm hoping will help to raise much needed funds. The kits comes from Instant Card Making Downloads and I think it's a fabulous kit. It's great value, especially as it's in the special offer section at the moment too.

I printed the sheets on to 250gms super smooth card and cut out all the elements which are very easy to cut out, then I scored on the lines as indicated and cut where required before folding the card base to shape. I glued on the panels and sentiment panel to the back of the card. I glittered the side panels and toppers and added little pearls on the pink set too before glueing the side panels on and mounting the topper and sentiment with foam tape. I think they make a fabulous little set of cards and I have several orders for them for the dog charity already, which is great.

Here are a couple of the individual cards to show a little more detail.

I hope you will pop by again for more crafty makes.

Today's card is one that I made yesterday evening for the daily challenge over at the Mad Crafters Giggles group on Facebook. The winner of the previous day chooses one word and we have to make something to fit that theme, the theme for yesterday was bright and this is what I made for my entry.

I needed to make a couple of card for my Brother-in-law's Birthday which is later this month and as he is a fisherman and can take a joke I thought this would be a great card to give him. The sheet is from craftsuprint and I printed it on to 160gsm smooth paper, cut out all the elements and layered up using foam tape. I think it's a fun card and I'm hoping my Brother-in-law will like it too.

Today's card is another one that I made for the challenges over at Mad Crafters Giggle. This is for the tic, tac, toe challenge that is currently running and I chose to use the the combination of transport, black and words and this is what I chose to make.

This is the front of the card

This is the pop out insert

The kit comes from craftsuprint and is by Janet Briggs. I printed all the sheets on to a 160gsm smooth paper and cut out all the elements. I stuck the card front on to a white A5 card blank and layered up the pyramid decoupage using 1mm foam tape.

The insert looks as if it would be very complicated to do, but in fact it's just a matter of cutting on the cut lines and then scoring and folding as per the simple to follow instructions. I plan to give this to my motorbike mad Nephew for his Birthday later in the year, and I'm sure he'll love it.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll pop back again for more crafty makes.

JUST FOR FUN CHALLENGE

Today see the start of the very first monthly challenge over at the Just For Fun challenge blog and the theme is anything goes, so I decided I would use one of the 3D room with a view cards I had purchased from craftsuprint. The kit is by Sue Douglas and I love it for something different to give for a Wedding or Anniversary. I've made this one for a friend to give for a Golden Wedding Anniversary later this month.

This is the closed view

and this is the card when it's opened

I printed all the required sheets on to a 250gsm super smooth card and cut out all the elements, I assembled as directed by the comprehensive instructions, which are very easy to follow. Once I had done this I flittered the little roses using a glue pen and ultra fine glitter to make what I think is a card with a difference.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join in the challenge for a chance to win a First Edition "Summer Breeze" Pavillion 6" x 6" paper pad and please visit again for more crafty makes.
